Austen Everett, AEF's founder went to the University of Miami where she was a nationally ranked goalkeeper for the Hurricanes. It was at U of Miami where she was diagnosed with cancer, realized the impact her sports community brought her in her fight, and where she started the Austen Everett Foundation.

University of Miami Athletics recently commemorated her legacy by showcasing her jersey and story permanently in the Women's Soccer Team locker room.

Below is a piece written by U of Miami Athletics about her mission, fight, and lasting legacy.

Even if you're only slightly curious, explore this blog category and you'll be glad you did. The clarity here is the kind that takes real skill to achieve. You've made hard ideas feel approachable without dumbing them down. That balance is genuinely impressive. I came away more confident and better informed than before. I'll be reading the whole archive. Keep producing content like this.
