Seattle Reign FC / Austen Everett Foundation Match Day
Each year, AEF and the Seattle Reign FC bring back the previous years' honorees to be recognized at the Reign FC vs. Portland Thorns FC match during a pre-game, on-field presentation where they are presented with their Team Captain photo and Nike ball all signed by the team. The honorees reunite with the players and coaches, connect with other kids and families, and enjoy the festivities of Match Day, which include the Cancer Sucks Raffle, bounce-house slide, photo booth, face tattooing station, and the VIP tent. This year, Austen was honored with the Reign FC Legends Award.
Seattle Sounders FC / AEF Viewing Party
The Viewing Party is a time for 120 of AEF families and honorees to relax and have fun. At the party, they can enjoy food and beverages, a photo booth, arts and crafts, XBOX game-play, and view the Sounders FC match live while celebrity athletes sign autographs.
Microsoft Xbox Fifa 17 Launch AEF / Seattle Sounders FC / Seattle Reign FC
Seattle Reign FC, Sounders FC, and Microsoft came together for our first ever, FIFA 17 XBOX Launch Party. The players competed against each other in a double elimination tournament to benefit AEF. The event, which was open to the public, had fantastic raffle items provided by Reign FC, Sounders FC, and Microsoft, autograph sessions with the athletes, and giveaways for those buying raffle tickets.
AEF Fashion Function Show / ivviva
AEF selects 15 girls battling cancer to be models in the ivivva Fashion Function Show. The girls have private fittings in the store where they get VIP treatment in choosing their outfits and accessories. They also participate in a professional pre-show photo shoot. On the day of the show, the girls strut their stuff down the runway to their favorite songs in front of their family and friends, followed by a light brunch. In addition to the love and compassion shown to the girls, ivivva also provides AEF with generous financial support.
BeastMode Soccer / PacNW Soccer Club
Beast Mode Soccer and Pacific Northwest Soccer Club joined forces in hosting a precision soccer clinic benefiting AEF. Kids signed-up online to get a t-shirt and participate in a soccer skills clinic coached by Reign FC players, Beverly Yanez and Lauren Barnes.
GSL Tournaments / NW Reign Baseball #EarnIt Tournament
GSL tournaments and NW Reign Baseball Club teamed up to host a baseball tournament in honor of David Padilla, a former player who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, to benefit AEF. With over 30 baseball teams in participation, this tournament was a huge success and a beautiful honor for the Padilla family.
Emerald City Gymnastics
Emerald City Gymnastic Academy has selected AEF for three consecutive years as their Charity of Choice. ECGA teams has supported AEF tremendously through kid2kid giving. In keeping with AEF’s mission to empower kid’s fighting cancer through the strength and support of the Athletic Community, an Honorary Team Captain was selected each year as their Charity Choice Invitational Captain. Over 150 ECGA gymnasts and their families supported the fight of each honoree with inspirational cards, letters and gifts delivered to the hospital by AEF.
Sisters In Sports
The Austen Everett Foundation is honored and excited to announce our partnership with Sisters in Sports! SIS is an organization of women connected by sport, designed to provide support and a sense of community among the spouses and partners, whether active, retired, married, divorced, or widowed to someone in sports. We are thrilled to join forces with SIS to honor and empower even more kids battling cancer, as well as expanding our outreach with more teams in more cities.
