2017 AEF Year in Review

December 20, 2017

Another year, another milestone crushed, and a new goal line set. The Austen Everett Foundation has empowered over 500 kids since our inception and Austen would be so proud! We continue to build out new partnerships with collegiate and professional sports teams and connect kids fighting cancer with their athletic heroes and champions. Take a look at some of the highlights from 2017!

HTC Joshua Fisher flipped the coin at the Sounders FC vs Vancouver Whitecaps FC game with 41,000 in attendance.

Reign FC hosted 60th Honorary Team Captain.
This year has brought more families than ever to AEF, and with that came even more support from around the country.
The Storm hosted two Honorary Team Captains, including the first  ‘signed’ WNBA AllStar West HTC.
Michael Bennett treated five of our HTCs to a private football scrimmage at the VMAC after the Seahawks graciously signed jerseys and took photos with our fighters and their families.

Sounders FC Golden Scarf Recipient

Austen was honored this year by the Sounders FC for her dedication to empowering kids with cancer.  June received the award in front of a raucous Seattle crowd.

 Fashion Shows

Over 20 models participated in our 2nd annual AEF Fashion Show, sponsored by Lululemon, ivivva and Kendra Scott.

San Fransisco 49ers and Levi’s invited us to partner on a fashion show at Levi’s Stadium.
